This accidentally got added to my basket when I needed to buy a new freehub body for my road bike:

Got delivered in 8 days from order from China.

Nice. Been running a set for over 10k km and taken on some pretty broken roads / mtb trails and they have been pretty good. Had to replace the bearings on the front and rear but that’s eventually expected when riding in the rain and mud.

So I went from Sram GX AXS T-type to the Sram Eagle 90 T-Type mechanical transmission due to worries about electronics and possible future failures. And I am incredibly impressed with this derailleur.. it is sooo smooth!!

The coolest thing about these derailleurs is that you can repair quite a lot of them with SRAM making replacement parts available. So they might be more expensive than Shimano but they should last a whole lot longer.

Interesting - my Lun Routte road wheels also need bearing replacement a little more frequently than I would expect (it's pretty cheap though). Wonder if there is a more long term solution? The bike shop (who I trust completely) said they were pretty small bearings so that might be the reason.

Yeah not sure. My wife’s wheels are still on their original bearings and seem fine. She’s done about 8000km on them through very similar terrain. But she’s lighter than me.
