They are usually run as a back tyre with a more aggresive tread type in the front, but if youre not going for podium a Crossmark will be fine in front aswell.

+1 run them on my 650b HT and they work fine, not 'podiuming' so as you say they are all good ........ Bullet proof as well, last forever!

Nice, but is'nt crossmarks more a back wheel tyre rather than a front tyre.

Personal preference and riding style should determine this...

Ok let me please just rectify some might be misunderstanding, I myself uses crossmark, rear only. I've read up about them some time ago and although the crossmark can be used for front wheel, it would be advised to have a more grippy tyre in front, like ie the Ardent or for better rolling maybe the Ikon which I will most probably fit both rear and front next time I have to get new rubber. Had my first ride on the new tyres this weekend, felt quite different. Bouncier.

Definitely more forgiving in the corners, when leaning and not quite nailing the corner, she kept going without sliding out - dealt with the rocks well.

I prefer single track to dirt road/jeep track but I'm not a maniac shredder, I think these will suffice for someone like me.

Rolling resistance compared to previous tyres seems slightly slower.

I'm not about to spend a lot on my cheap bike... This will do me for now.

Tx to all for the comments.

Why would you put a pair of shoes on top of 2 Chivas Regal boxes?

That is the box they came in.

Ja nice and light. I've got knee issues so minimalist is a no no unfortunately.

Lunar forever 4 with lunaron sole.

Very happy so far
