29er? 650b? 27.5? 26? Trek unravels the wheel size debate

that last statement voids everything they said before, I like trek, but wont take it that far :w00t:

If "voice over man" tells you Trek is the best then Trek is the best!

Interesting that they didn't recommend 26" for anything...don't they have 26" DH bikes any more?

Oddly enough I agree with their statements but it reeks so much of marketing bollocks that I battle to not scoff at it...

cough cough cough...rouxtjie clearing his throat and doing his best james earl jones impression:

One man....

Two wheels...

Three choices...

Who will win, who is faster

Morgan Freeman for the voice over !

It is their marketing video, so I suppose their claim that theirs are the best is justified.

I'm not a big fan of Trek bikes.

As for wheel size, well they pretty much all do what they were intended to do. To go round and round.

hahahaha.... Oh dear...

But how cool are the shoes that guy is wearing while he does his math homework sitting on the floor with the yellow soles?

All expert " inputs " assume that we are all " top 10 " riders , with the only variance being the wheel size. I have both a 26er ( 2 ) and a 29er. However, my main obstacle remains FITNESS , or the lack thereof .Wheel size , for me , is very academic and I assume the same for most weekend warriers.

Nicely done Trek, and bonus, Emily features. It should be pointed out thought that she got beat by a 26" FS (Pendrell) and 650b (Katerina) this past weekend.

Whatever: 26" is a dead market, with a few exceptions.

Interesting to see if/how Cannondale responds, I have seen any news about 650b from them.
