Mate of mine has 2 of them with more mileage than most and maintained so they look fresh from the showroom. He used to keep log of his mileage on the 22…last I heard he had ridden over 65 000 kms on the 22.

Spoked wheels is an option on the Urban GS.

I know it's part of the retro appeal and all, but those forks look super el-cheapo with the spindley chrome uppers and gaiters.

They remind me of these bad boys found on Makro bikes and the like, haha

Have any of you riff raff left your bikes at CT international airport before?

Going to park at the indoor parking with the hope that there would be less of a chance of people messing with the bike or running a trolley into the side of the bike.....will lock the ignition and "steering lock" to be on the safe side.

Off to Namibia for work, and hoping to find a gap to pop in at https://shop.thunderbike.de/en/home/ and take a look around ...... then REALLY hope that have a bike to take a joy ride on if they are feeling generous with full knowledge that I am just passing through town :)

Their FB page shows a pic of the new Sporster S, would be good to cast an eye on this bike as I see it as a mini Fat Bob

@Hairy Give CTIA a call and ask the Parking Management Office for options.

They will certainly have secure parking options.

I am going with the fact that my bike has a fitted alarm, I can lock the ignition and lock the fork as positives

Still firmly at #1

Never in a Million years list

1. Parking my bike at the airport and then getting on a plane

2. Watching Keeping up with the Kardashians in bed with my ex wife

3. Voting ANC.
