Much as I try and ignore the doping issue it makes me want to kick testicles when the doper is in my country and age cat!

Know what you mean!!

Looks like this is found in a few weight loss supplements.

Methylhexaneamine (MHA)

Methylhexaneamine is banned in competition under category S.6b, Specified Stimulants. MHA is frequently found in nutritional supplements which claim it can promote mental and physical performance, and aid weight loss. Methylhexaneamine can be listed in ingredients under a variety of names including 1,3-dimethylamylamine or DMAA, and a variety of geranium derivatives.

Methylxanthine on wiseGEEK:

  • Theophylline is a prescription medication generally used to treat symptoms of asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema. It typically works by widening the airway passages in the lungs, thereby allowing air to move more freely with each breath.
  • Theobromine, a chemical in the methyloxantine family of alkaloids, occurs naturally in raw and processed chocolate. These chemicals have been found to dilate blood vessels, allowing increased blood flow.

At least he acknowledged he took it and copped his ban without going through the tedious bullpoo that we have been subjected to by others who have been caught.

I suppose the difference in the reading on the bullpoo hydrometer is those that want to profit from their performance financially and those that don't.

Still don't understand the logic for an age grouper to dope. What do they gain? It's not for the money. And also not for "fame", because (no offense), but do they seriously think anyone is interested who won the vets? I can't even remember who won this years Epic.

Ego - all ego.

Most prize money I win is less than the entry fee but it's cool to stand on the podium and have people clap at you then say "well done well done" as you walk back through the crowd.

The problem comes in when your ego is greater than your morals...

It's just so pathetic.

It definitely was in a few of them, but it seems they were pulled a while ago when a few people died from use.

I will have to check browser history from when I searched a bit earlier to find the links.

Not sure if we still have any products in SA with it in though.

The age old question always comes up, if we do have products containing it was it one of those insider secrets to use that product knowing it contained the substance?

I wonder where the word "inadvertently" crept in from, did CSA inadvertently add it into their statement or did chad short suggest as his excuse that he took it inadvertently.....

smell some bullpoo

Damnit, I must then be a doper too.

My steroids were contaminated with MHA by a pharmacist, it isn't my fault.

I would never intentionally use MHA.
