The discovery driving points suck. I achieve the goal and then it resets itself to 0 for no reason, under activity history there’s no mention of the goal being reset. I’ve given up with that.

it'll do that if you have more than one "incident" in your driving log for a particular journey.

I quite like it, to be honest. It's forced me to change my driving even more than I had, previously. Slow acceleration, sub-100 freeway cruising speed in the LH lane. No "abrupt braking" and no "hard cornering" even though the limits for those levels are quite low.

It's given me (so far) 100km more on a tank than normal.

I need to get my brother in law on it, drove with him the other day, even boy racer me was more conservative while driving. For reference I had a klapped out opel astra with lowered suspension, redone motor, exhaust headers, ECU. I used go through front tires every 6 months. Every start was 11's down the road till 3rd. And he drives worse.

The driving thing is not working for me.

On average I do not drive a 100km in a week.

Most of my 2km trips don't show up on the app.

I think they should reward me for staying off the roads

Same here! Commuting most days and the non-commuting days don't add up to 100km a week.

Same, do 24km a week. I switch the car seat around so that the one car does not sit for too long without being run properly.

I think it shows at what speed you accelerated from... Yesterday I got one from accelerating to hard on an on-ramp, and the indicated speed was 43kph.

Maybe dropped the clutch a little bit while waiting in queue to get into parking lot. With my commute I get 3 to 4 goals per week, then I just pick the rubbish tiles.

I need to stay very far away from that driving app, I ride a KTM690 to work & back and half the time it's on its back wheel puling away from traffic lights, I'd go into negative points

Flightmode works, otherwise you get multiple resets...

Does anyone know if it's possible to get Wattbike Pro files (.tcx) into a format that Vitality recognises and accepts?

There isn't anything and as soon as you tamper with a file it will not be recognised by Vitality

Do what everyone else does, take your garmin or a device that is recognised with Vitality and pair it with the wattbike if you want additional info and then record your workout on your device whilst on the wattbike.

Vitality are only interested in length of time and %HR for your points, so you don't even need to pair your garmin device with the wattbike.  You can just record your workout and your HR whilst on the wattbike via your device and upload as you would any ride to get the points

If you have a Garmin connect account you can import the .tcx file and then Vitality will pickup your Garmin activity and allocate the necessary points.

You will need to have an active Garmin device to be able to link to Vitality

Thanks for this.  I thought there was an easier way.  But I see their point if the file is tampered with they won't accept it.  Fair enough.  Just more admin now to take the Garmin along and record things there too.
