Well done for making a well reasoned and rational post. If I was back 3 times, I would have thrown a proper tantrum already!

If things are as you say, I believe that you have a valid claim.

Yes, and the agents should see the wheels in the flesh. I have found the average sales guy at CWC a tad clueless and as a rule would say things like this should be escalated to the top quite quickly rather than expecting the junior staff member to give opinions like this. My gut feel is that this is BS and the agents would replace the wheels.

Which agents to CWC use?

Those are alum wheels with a carbon laminate on the outside. I'm willing to bet the rims are cracked under the layer of carbon.

So no, not normal wear and tear.

Would it help to know OP is one of the only level headed Savage riders.

Although he has been doing more jogging than riding lately :P

3 pages in an no mention of the Consumer Protection Act, I'm impressed! All the closet legal experts must actually be working today haha

Why not get a report from a reputable wheel builder?

If they claim it's wear and tear and the wheel builder says otherwise wouldn't you have a stronger case to work from?

It's for them, CWC, to prove that it is normal wear and tear.
