When you ask at what pace the ride will be at: "Nah boet don't worry, it's an easy coffee ride"

 

and

 

"Don't worry, you'll be fine"

One of the first times I rode single track way way way back..I got crapped on by sooner old geezer for not using my front brakes on a single track descent.. And for braking hard in the corners

Back in the 90's:

 

"If you can't afford SPD's the next best thing is toeclips." This was for mtb.

 

I don't know how we didn't die having our feet literaly tied onto the pedals.

Oven cleaner is great to get stubborn dirt off chain rings and cassette....and it is actually...just do not and I repeat do not get it on anything else...like the cranks arms - I had nice blingy race face cranks that become very old looking :-(
