Really? I get the weekly newsletter, but I have yet to find info with regards to builds on Tokai...and which direction their trails are designated. What has that to do with Tygerberg MTB?

Nothing whatsoever. You wouldn't see updates for Tokai on TBMTB newsletter.

I'm confused. Where on the Tygerberg network of trails are these trails being discussed?

Robbie I'm curious - what ever gave you the impression that hubbers have ever been able to stick to the topic of a thread and not wander off onto unrelated discussions...

And to be honest I think club management are quite happy when the discussion wanders off to Tokai trails in stead of complaints on how Tygerberg have too much berms.

I'm not even a member and I get it.  :w00t:

Never read it, "deeeleeeetteeee".

Rode Hoogies yesterday for the first time in ages, with the extension bit.  It's brown, it's covered in flies, it's drier than the Eskom bank account, but it was fun.   Just the dude in the Polo at the bottom shouting at people... eish.

THANKS to Patrick and his elves !

It is so easy to ask for paved and perfect trails .....

Doing the Fine Breede event today I was reminded of how privaledged we are to have such a WIDE variety of trails, and conditions !!

A couple of the sections had boulders - like Bloemendal

A couple of steep climbs had loose rocks - like Meerendal Dorstberg

A few narly sections along the single track - enough of these along our trails

A couple of STEEP decents in U-turns - again ample exposure along our trails ...

Frankly our trails have done a very good job of exposing me to the various "tricky" sections that caught out so many other riders !

New tack... In my humble opinion, the best XC trails in the Tygerberg club network are on Meerendal. That is if you are an XCM rider.
