The point of not eating animals is not to stop climate change.

except for many people it is, and that's cool we all have our reasons for doing whatever we want.

TED talk on the topic that AFAIK started the meat free monday idea.(not everyone can do a whole week at first!)

I agree that for many it is a larger contributor to the decision. But if your sole motivation is to help the climate, there are lots of others you can do too.

My last few meals out my GF (yes, a long story for another thread...) and I ordered veggie pasta meals. Not to try and avoid meat or anything, but because they were full of all the food we love like olives, artichokes, sundried tomato, rocket, etc. Was packed full of flavour and I certainly didn't feel like I'd missed out on anything by not including meat.

We're going to try a few more at home now, so that veg chilli recipe[e above will come in handy.

I started by eating more veggies because they are yummy. Then I realised how much healthier I felt and looked. Now I eat veggies only.

But I am labelled a Vegan Nazi with memes and snotty comments about how I am a total loser for wanting to feel and look better.

Yet parents all over the world tell their kids to eat more veggies all the time.

Funny how life is.

Oh I eat veggies with every meal, and always have. I love them. Just always felt obliged to order something with meat in restaurants for some strange reason.
