I've always had a "thing" for the bent wing birds (Corsair, F4 Phantom, etc) and these guys are rebuilding a JU87. Check it out - it's a great channel.

I never knew the JU87 had an automatic diving procedure.... damn,.

Looks like SAA gets a reprieve?

https://techcentral.co.za/government-looks-set-to-bail-out-saa-again/98486/

I'm holding thumbs for LWB.

Yeah difficult one, don’t know whether to cheer or boo

I am guessing that the looting of the government coffers is not done yet, and this dead cow still has some milk in the udders, even if it's already sour and thick.

(in saying so, I am praying that LWB survives this)

Boo, we need to Boo. Doesn't matter what they say or do about this "new" airline, it will be the same corrupt gravy train.

PRIVATE, PRIVATE, WE (SAAT) WANT TO GO PRIVATE.

So rumor has it, COMAIR is coming back to us.

As soon as the airlines start flying, Technical can start working again. For me, it doesn't matter if the plane has 1 or 100 people on board when it flies so if some airlines want to fly with low pax then there is work for me.

Anyone know whats actually happening with commercial local flights, have they actually started and what is the admin like and what sort of numbers of passengers?

I saw an ad for Flysafair last night that they are selling seats, and for R750.00 one can "buy" the seat next to you to prevent someone sitting there.

All good and well until there is a increase in demand, and then even though the seat has been sold it will inevitably find a bum sitting in it. I flew on Air Namibia to Walvis Bay once and I heard a business class bloke have a proper meltdown because a mom with an infant (less than a month old) was put in a seat he paid for to get extra space for himself.

Eventually he was threatened with disembarkation if he did not calm down.

How could they put someone in a seat he'd paid for? I'd have a melt down too if that happened to me :-(
