I also didn't realise just how much guys like Rassie, Gatland, Jones etc. influence (or rather dictate) what happens where and when. That substitution of Siya in the Wales game really seemed strange, but as Squidge points out, Rassie needed someone a few percent fresher than Siya to win (and I suppose not lose) a penalty at the right time. The detail in which Squidge analyses the game is insane and I think gives me a much better appreciation of the game!
