when you work on his road bike, please put his brake blocks against his wheel so he can stop putting me in the hurtbox

while you are at it ... swap his brake hoses around and drop a little Q20 on the pads to stop them "squealing"

I am sure you have had a few offers, but if you need someone to go look at the fork for you, just ask.

I will go look for you now worries. And then report back.

Seeing as Slowbee is prepared to shlepp out there (but hasn’t read the thread obv), here is a suggested solution:

Send the fork to Slowbee;

Slowbee returns the fork to Morne, only in exchange for your refund in hard cash.

Slowbee eft’s you the refund, less 10% for his time, petrol and bank charges.

Prob solved. If we have Slowbee buy in. And if Morne has the cash.

My thought pattern is he returns the fork and this Morne oke has some bs reason why he wont refund full amount due to it being used, damaged or a scratch.

 Due to the fork being without a thru axel and it is not a 29'er as per the origional add  :ph34r:

Thank you very much for everyone's willingness to help me get this sorted. I won't expect anyone of you to put yourself through the mission of trying to get my money back. I know that Morné is not going to refund me even if I drive there myself. I am sure that he intentionally sold me a 650B just to get some cash. Desperate times and all those things....

I will keep the fork listed and see if anyone else needs it to upgrade their steed ????

Nope - just no !!

He needs to take it back and a full refund.

Well he can either take it back and do what is right or we can start a thread with his company name instead?

Edit: since he was trading parts on here in his personal capacity instead of a dealer account.

We can all make mistakes. What is telling however, is how you fix it. That is probably the best way to determine if it actually was a mistake to begin with.

This is a mistake that is very easy and simple to fix.
