Looking at the activity overall - Its 25% of what thehub used to be. 1901251492_2017activity.JPG.7187665fec7531f78813e0a030a65300.JPG

See @Frosty beat me to it!

Feel the whatsapp groups are probably replacing the cycling related chat and banter that used to take place on the hub, especially around the classics, TDF, Giro, Vuelta etc.

There is also far less spatty stuff where 5 people spend 7 pages having a go at each other.

I reckon that plus the chit chat made up a lot of unconstructive activity

My comprehensive insurance premium has jumped 17% and I had No claims.

my Mtb premium has jumped R149 (22%) and the roadie R96(30%)

risk profile has changed due to the increase in car breaking and bike jackings.

my cat premium jumped from R1470 to R1853. This is due to cat parts price inflation and work from home being cancelled so again the risk profile has changed.

Here's a view of the past decade on the Forums and Classifieds (incl. 2022 to date):

The forum numbers may disagree with old article totals as these counts will exclude a lot of content that was cleaned out in recent years.
