to the office ..... :whistling:

the morning commute is getting COLD ... the sleeveless vest is not doing it anymore .... will have to get one of those BRIGHT yellow long sleeve tops .... (now if only our dear friends at CWC would put this on special BEFORE I buy, and not a week after the fact .... missed out on the Momsen and the Thule bike rack)

Van Gaalen... rode some new and some older  trails I haven't been on in years..

post-6012-0-33944900-1495286554_thumb.jpg

There was a trail run (what a ridiculous thing to do instead of play bike) on and Erik let us start ahead of the runners to ride trails that are not normally accessible.

Tough ride, well for me at least, fair bit of portaging and rather technical in places. Spent longer out there than I was planning to but had a  great ride nonetheless.

Rode past what I can only describe as a vulture "restaurant".. had to stop for snaps.

WOW !

That must be something else.   :)

All those tree lined routes .... moon above .... bike light ....

must add this to my bucket list !!

Can one do this any full moon night, or is this a special arrangement ?  May just plan this into an Onrus trip .....

The trees make for fun riding with limited visibility.

The route is always open. Better with company though, it gets a bit lonely in the dark, especially at full moon...

Today we did the Willow Creek ride in the Nuy Valley.  Willow Creek and Computer Mania went ALL OUT to present a stunning event !!

In fact Computer Mania not only sponsored the event for the 26th year, they actually take part in it -

WOW !! what a lucky draw we had !!!! Both our numbers got drawn, AND he got a special prize just because it was his first ride.  At 5 years 10 months he was NOT the youngest to do the 11,8km ride,  the youngest also got a special prize.
