DC prep 130 clicks | 5 hours rollers:

Sunday was one the wettest spring rides. Another wet one in Q4 was the DC from a few years ago. Most of the guys were not prepared for rain and fortunately the Mercury never dropped below 12 degrees. It was such an adventure and, fortunately, everyone got home safely without kissing the tarmac.

When you have stomach issues just before setting out and have to take all the cyclist paraphernalia off ... a broken spoke at halfway ... a puncture 10k's from home AND a bee stings you just up the road from home you just don't bother to take pictures ????

Still better than lying on the couch me thinks though ????

O yes the only good thing about the elections is everyone running around to look good and useful. As someone said, "I can smell fresh tar and t-shirts it must be election time". ????

According to @Pikey a lovely 'summers' day in the UK, in reality a cold, wet and windy ride with him on his 'up-country' bike ... the freewheel is so loud that you can't talk when he stops pedaling ????

An absolutely cracking ride though, lots of laughs as always!

is it the one with the 'pikey' red hubs? lol.

On that topic. that bike needs more orange or in its life. The fork and that shade of blue are a perfect complimentary match. Now finish the project dammit. LOL
