How about matching the flair on your handlebar moustache to the flair on your actual handlebar.

The weak point in my gravel game, I can’t grow a manly beard or a flared tache

but I have loads of bags I can mount and brown bar tape so no one notices my pubescent facial hair

I’m a tough as nails gravel biker -  top tube against the pole one day, pedals at the wrong angle the next day

I don’t care about these things and focus on the important stuff like does my flannel match my socks and where do I get my flat white en route

Top tube against parking support structure has got little to do with whether you're a gravel rider or not, Oom. It's like okes placing their bikes  upside down to fix a puncture. Sacrilege.????

Black on Black meets colour on the Constantia Greenbelts. Wet, muddy, slippery, sunshine, drizzle, clear, overcast, sunny with showers! Lovely four-seasons-in-one ride with Beattbox. Great recovery coffee and Swiss confectionery (thanks S). Serious bike wash done, fire lit, wine open, now we braai! Stuff this on/off rain, if you let the weather dictate what you do in Cape Town, you need to change your approach!

That bottle must have jumped out in pure shame being fitted to either a white or red water bottle holder on a black frame .... get black cages and life will treat you better.

It is the last two that no one else wanted :P

The bottle cage fashion police will be most pleased to know that I have splashed out and procured not one, but two matching black cages ????

No more bottles disappearing in shame ????

This pic taken after a clean, following a very dirty ride this morning. Learned some lessons about what my "city slick" tires are capable (or rather, not capable) of on wet mud...

On a related note, I also learned (on the job, so to speak) how to unclip off a bike that's going down... twice ????
