Sepia Posted December 29, 2016 Share Ah, the coffee guys. Good coffee there. Must have been very early. Best to be avoided before the crowds arrive.

Andrew_Smith Posted December 29, 2016 Share Another Road Trip - Gansbaai Yes, that is a bike in there. Bike cleaning time. Need it clean and running for tomorrow's ride. Destination will be 'Coffee On The Rocks'."  Sent from Pure Android Pieterlab1

Andrew_Smith Posted December 30, 2016 Share Coastal Bike N Hike Googled last night to get to know the area. 'Coffee On The Rocks' only opens at 10am, so that did not happen. But the views... Wow! So beautiful. Walked more with my bike than rode it, but the breathtaking views made up for it. Ended the ride at a calm beach. Went to get some sea water in my face. Definitely going take a dip later! Now heading to Pearly Beach (bike will unfortunately not come with)."  Sent from Pure Android Edited December 30, 2016 by Andrew_Smith Fruity, IH8MUD, Prince Albert Cycles and 12 others

LOOK695 Posted December 30, 2016 Share Decided to tackle our toughest tarred climb in our area this morning. Hadn't ridden it for years and I remembered why not???????? this morning. The main climb is only 700m long, but the ave gradient is 12,9%, reaching 15 at the steepest part towards the end of the climb. I remember when I was still fearless, I reached a top speed of 101km/h coming down the one time and that was freewheeling ????????  And some surrounding pics. Beautiful area we live in????????  View from the top where I had a lekker Blackcat chocolate bar???????? Took it easy going down with a max speed of just over 70km/h???????? A shade over 1000m of climbing in my 60km ride???????? billygoat0523, Zatopek, chris_meowzit and 10 others
