DJR Posted February 12, 2017 Share Climbfest around the peninsula with Beattbox. Fantastic to get a bit of rain for a change, although it got really wet & slippery on the Atlantic side. Andrew_Smith, Bloukrans, BigDL and 8 others
'Dale Posted February 12, 2017 Share I am pretty sure I saw you okes waiting at the end of the Bloemslang near Bloemendal Restaurant.A white Toyota Hilux V6 picked me up. Well, to be honest, not quite sure. Went down Bloemslang, approached the first jump into the wood section and when I landed my front tyre went of the rim. I then found myself on the ground. So really not sure what happened. Did took my bike in for a basic service afterwards. No damages, very glad to hear and I really thought it could have been my rebound speed or my fork air pressure. Also, I was riding on a lower PSI upfront (not sure how much, did the old hand tester). So yeah, freak accident. Sounds like you're front rubber was a bit under-inflated heyWhat pressure do you run and how much do you way weigh? Thinking the same in my head Dale.Pressure, really unsure (tested it with my hand) and I weigh 58kg. EDIT: Any tips you would recommend to prevent my front tire from burping again. Really wasn't happy when it happened to me, Edited February 12, 2017 by Andrew_Smith
Frosty Posted February 12, 2017 Share A, hot-n-humid, club ride/recce of the R4S route. Lots of potholes along the route, which the organisers need to fill rather than just mark (too dangerous). https://www.instagram.com/p/BQaGtvvFJ6k/ trail - er - park, BrandonF_, Fruity and 2 others

Odinson Posted February 12, 2017 Share Went for my first shakedown ride on my new Swoop. Was heaps of fun. Only rode for about 30min, so as to get a feel for the suspension and settle the tubeless set up. Had my better half do some filming. P.S. Was a balmy 2C out, even though it doesn't look it. https://youtu.be/YAZVYO8qcLY popcorn_skollie, DJR, nox1111 and 7 others

GmtbR Posted February 12, 2017 Share Fairly new to MTB and this morning was my first time at Hoogekraal with my kid. We really "enjoyed" Spyker's Hill...well the view from the top anyway. The ride down to the parking lot was great, only spoilt a bit by over-caution that turned into over the bar on the damned wooden ramp thing. Only bruises and scrapes, a dusty bike and hurt pride and hopefully a few lessons learnt along the way.
