Ryanpmb Posted January 19, 2014 Share Didn't use the Cotic this time? Congrats on the ride! Thanks - once again, it was an awesome experience. Definately getting hooked on the trail. I wanted to give the alu frame ago to test the lighter bike vs the comfort of the Cotic. I also took more gears with me this time. Ran 1x10 last time and 2x10 this time around. 2x10 Cotic (or Niner SIR9) might be the answer...

awesme Posted January 19, 2014 Share Modderfontein Central Johannesburg Cycle Park. Pretty nice ride, really enjoyed it. Yellow/Red route marking/directions needs some attention. G

Ryanpmb Posted January 19, 2014 Share   Yyyhhhooooooo!!!!.......nice ride and rides! Guess you need a day to do something this awesome. Looks like you can also take a dip in the river?!Thanks. It was a blast. The river looked really inviting but we were out to beat our previous time and were still about 80km from our destination at this point. Did the 160km 3500m climbing in 12hrs including stops - beat our previous attempt over the same route by 4 hours. It really puts the top Freedom Challenge riders times in perspective.
