Nasty crash this morning. Thank goodness for a helmet. Concussed and waiting for X-rays on shoulder, but I think something is broken. Thanks to WJ who stopped to assist if you happen to read this.

Wasn’t able to check if the bike is okay, but I really hope so.

Just seems right to go to the bike shop on your bike ... 👍

My sister was quick to ask: "Are there no bike shops closer" ..... "Yes, but then you must leave your bike outside..."

@'Dale

YES, we must take a moment to enjoy the splendor of the views ....

Man, seeing H-bay again floods the memory banks. I've surfed so many waves on the left and the right, which was working on this day it seems. Decembers on the grass at Len Giles' spot and evenings in the pub at the Heroldsbaai hotel drinking beer, talking *** and playing pool. Those were the days.

So ja yesterday was a fun learning day.

Rule 1 make sure shoe laces are tied

Rule 2 don't jump when you dont have decent training

Rule 3 don't delay the bike service you know was supposed to be done.

I still had fun though. It also gave me some good practice on how to carry on if stuff goes wrong. Ps this is why I carry a back pack with spares. Should add a spare Tyre.

PS these incedent.s were not related to each other.
