I recall one of many full moon nights on the rocky Schoenmakerskop coast, I worked and stayed in and surfed that stretch in my early twenties, when one of those surfaced and chilled no more than a metre from me for perhaps half an hour.  Just silently stayed in one another’s company.  Seemed simultaneously normal and magical.

Schoenies is a special place! Lots of otters there....Had some memorable berg wind barrels at a place we named Tiree Hill...small bay about 2 clicks from the end of the road and fence...mate of mine had a place 3 houses from the end, Mom was Irish...

Keep it easy; recover well.

I will work with the bio. 👍

Need a good and proper recovery ... I have to do the Pink Train justice at CTCT 2024 👍

Lets see if I can stil reach my goal for 2023 ....a good recovery is obviously more important

This too shall pass
