Yeah, went as low as 2° this morning on my way down to town, but with enough layers it wasn't a problem, still much better than sitting on the IDT....which looks like it's going to be tomorrow morning

Was also on the gravel bike, bit irritating to not be allowed onto Tafelberg, even to get to the jeeps at the first switchback.

And, so, DC training #6 begins with a 100 miler and a mountain pass. My last Double Century event was in 2015ish.

Finally back on the trails this weekend…and new bike day as well which probably wasn’t a good idea. Tbh I thought the trails would be drier but was clearly wrong.

went for a lil pre work cycle along the canal paths up to Godalming. There is a remembrance building there for John George Phillips who was the radio operator on the Titanic.

Today it took me to the big white telephone in the bathroom.

Its been a very long time since a ride has been so hard that I've puked when I got home. The sad part is the stats dont match the RPE.

Just when you think you're getting strong the boys turn up the wick.
