Spent the day giving the bike some tlc, then went for a chill ride around the hood.

This is outside the holy rosary school, very random as it's a cul de sac but a public road, guess the kids play there after school.

Then just stuffing around in my local park.. A fat fluffy jack Russell being walked decided it would be fun to chase me, ended up saying okay fine you win, I'll stop. The owner then wanted to show me a dead rat - people are strange...

Back-to-back endurance rides (115 and 145km), plus another long one planned for Monday at SBR (another 145km).

Would be a lie if I said the legs don't hurt (a bit). Riding in a group doesn't always allow for a 100% endurance/tempo pace - but the social bit wins every time.

I love back to back endurance rides.... I hope StevieL is reading this....we need to get back into our looooooong rides too :D

"Middle of Nowhere" (the Karoo) with no destination or goals in mind. Just some lazy riding to look at the sunset from a high hill, or to check your groupchat thingie (the teenagers & dodgy signal). But that wasn't all.........more later!
