And down at the Karatara river before climbing back up to the awesomeness of Forest Frenzy and Madcows. DJR Posted May 15, 2016 Share On a slightly sad and disquieting note, we found the Lower Tokai area almost deserted. Where you would expect many walkers, dogs, kids, runners and riders on a fantastically beautiful Sunday afternoon, the place was almost eerily empty. I wondered whether it had something to do with the horrible happenings of earlier this year? Can it be that we now avoid it without even realizing it? That would be like letting the dark side win.
