WOW !

That must be something else.   :)

All those tree lined routes .... moon above .... bike light ....

must add this to my bucket list !!

Can one do this any full moon night, or is this a special arrangement ?  May just plan this into an Onrus trip .....

The trees make for fun riding with limited visibility.

The route is always open. Better with company though, it gets a bit lonely in the dark, especially at full moon...

Today we did the Willow Creek ride in the Nuy Valley.  Willow Creek and Computer Mania went ALL OUT to present a stunning event !!

In fact Computer Mania not only sponsored the event for the 26th year, they actually take part in it -

WOW !! what a lucky draw we had !!!! Both our numbers got drawn, AND he got a special prize just because it was his first ride.  At 5 years 10 months he was NOT the youngest to do the 11,8km ride,  the youngest also got a special prize.

I know knew those fields well...

In those days, the pitch was rotated 90-degrees (crossing over the cricket pitch).

Chilled "Boys" Ride at Contermans this morning.

Perfect weather for some father son time.

The "tunnel" was a big hit and then we had the bush vine climb to look forward to:

With only a little bit of walking on the looser tricky bits for 20" wheels.

No moaning or strain and the hill was beaten And then the fun bits down and a reward!

That would have been my choice too,but strawberry was his choice. As long as Dad gets his flat white all is well with the world.
