My little 'skills' spot. I ride to the top on the grassy mount and gun it down to ride of the ledge..lol...not a massively high ledge but high enough to practice some good technique and get used to riding drop offs.

try going off there slower, and not just relying on speed. The focus shifts more to technique when going off slower.

Hexriver? Beautiful!

Yeah, a different route than the usual one. It was something else but I hope next year the old route will return.

Agreed. Now that i'm quite comfortable going off that ledge, will give it a go going a little slower which is still bout keeping the front wheel up and landing on the back wheel or both at the same time.

Also rode the Autumn Splendour today. The weather was perfect and the route was great.

In a blurry rush to get out the house this morning I forgot my helmet at home.Fortunately one of the Worcester Lbs's had a stall there and I could purchase a "cheap and cheerful" jobbie and was able to ride.

A crummy autumn day in Brisbane (22 degrees C), so I went for a cycle from our house down to the CBD (bike track next to freeway) and then past the other side on the river boardwalk with the main aim to scout out some family friendly rides with en-route coffee shops for the significant other. Not quite a 94.7, only a 35 km, but more than enough of a workout on the Trance.

Yesterday I realised that my form is really bad at the moment and I'd better get my ass in gear before if completely goes to sh@t.

So this morning I was at it again with a mate who also has some work to do.[emoji48]

Couldn't have asked for a better weather, clear skies and perfect temperatures.[emoji108]

Up at Lindani Game Reserve for the Lindani Mtb Challenge 35 km on Saturday. Then rode other trails on Sunday. Awesome set of trails up there. Quite Technical as far as Marathon races go. Lot of fun.
