Is that a pic of your lunch as well?[emoji6] Is that a dedicated cycle lane in the left where your bike is standing?

It was the Steers I had for breakfast to give me that extra kick!

Yup, it runs from Big Bay to Melkbosstrand (about 15 km in total for this new stretch). Clearly separated from motor vehicle traffic with a concrete barrier/slabs.

Was great to be back on the bike.

Riding for the fun of it. No zones to chase, no clock to watch.

My little 'skills' spot. I ride to the top on the grassy mount and gun it down to ride of the ledge..lol...not a massively high ledge but high enough to practice some good technique and get used to riding drop offs.

try going off there slower, and not just relying on speed. The focus shifts more to technique when going off slower.

Agreed. Now that i'm quite comfortable going off that ledge, will give it a go going a little slower which is still bout keeping the front wheel up and landing on the back wheel or both at the same time.

Also rode the Autumn Splendour today. The weather was perfect and the route was great.

In a blurry rush to get out the house this morning I forgot my helmet at home.Fortunately one of the Worcester Lbs's had a stall there and I could purchase a "cheap and cheerful" jobbie and was able to ride.

A crummy autumn day in Brisbane (22 degrees C), so I went for a cycle from our house down to the CBD (bike track next to freeway) and then past the other side on the river boardwalk with the main aim to scout out some family friendly rides with en-route coffee shops for the significant other. Not quite a 94.7, only a 35 km, but more than enough of a workout on the Trance.
