I’m interested to know what happens after you get dropped. Do you still go hard till the finish or is it like now I’ll just have some fun and enjoy the event instead.

For me its always somewhere after Bonnievale - so I hook some fast teams on the flats & crawl up the 3 bit%hes trying not to cramp. Very aware of the "banter" from mates in the social teams I will be at the receiving end off if they catch up to me so I still try to get to finish as fast as possible.

If you can only get enough warning when the catch you .... time to pull over for a mechanical ......

Hope all goes smooth and that it is a good one for you 👍

has the wind picked up yet or not?

okes are quiet in here 👀

Guys must probably be in team meetings, discussing RACE tactics.

Being crowned Kings of The Atlantic Seaboard is more important than Winning the DC.

I shouted at you after the second stop (albeit only your hub name), and I only recognised you because you posted your gear! Your leg looked solid!

What a privilege to roll this event after 10 years of hiatus.

The South African spirit or ‘gees’ at its most beautiful best - from volunteers to the local community welcoming the cycling community, to the tired smiles of my teammates over the spitbraai supper.
