Crazy, 20 years, I've been on Bikehub for 16 of those. I must say, not much work was done during those first 5 years 🤣

Not been riding for 5 years now, all that is about to change. I'm so excited.

Always been Caerus from day 1, I use the same alias everywhere (if its available)

Late comer to the party .... joined late 2016.  WOW !! Almost 10 years.

 

Made some good friends and riding buddies.

Potch train .... group of cyclists doing the annual migration to the Colony for the World Champs in March.

Learnt a LOT, from cycling to the difference between parkrun and trail running.

 

Let's not forget .... sold a few items on the Hub.  Bought some stuff on the Hub, these purchases made life a LOT easier !

Just checked, I will be here for 20 years on the 7th of October later this year. Started as Steynja, simply because that was my login name I used at work. I cannot remember when I changed it to my real name.

Miss the post by controversial hubbers like Johan Bornman and Big H. Also those from Rouxenator and Ewep, AKA Pieman.

Glad you can finally admit your irrationality during those times 😉

But seriously, those debates were pointless in hindsight - but at the time helped one process everything that was happening

Current profile since 2009. Had a profile before this one that I registered in 2007(ish). Sold quite a bit and bought once or twice as well. All good experiences. The discussions - 26vs29; HT vs DS; Alu vs Carbon; Road v sMtb vs Gravel(more recently); Regular vs Ebike; Singlespeeds; Indoor; Power vs HR, Polar vs Garmin. All in all a lot learned on here. And only 1 demerit point  for baiting a one post wonder.

Sadly there is a reason both Carel from TCS and myself hung up our moderations hats (first two mods) after a few years. Then I went dormant for a decade.. slowly surfacing again.. this is a good place with good people!
