I thought that guy was not riding the 32er at the epic? not enough spare tires or something?

Hedging their bets. If they’re fast the can say the 29er held them back

if theyre slow they can say the 29er held them back

if they crash they can say the 29er held them back

its 32er win win

My XL Trek Fuel doesn't fit through a standard door frame if I have it up on the back wheel pushing it through the house - How much bigger would a 32" be in a size XL I wonder - what would happen to the geometry?

Wrestling my bike up a steep swtchback is a test of my poor technique - I wonder what a 32 would be like?

One thing's for sure - I'm not buying another bike for at least 3 years ...promise

And you would have to ride a longer route and pay a higher entry fee to make up for the larger wheel diameter, similar but opposite theory to the elite ladies riding shorter distances…

The half route ladies are getting less coverage than previous... Se ma net

Yup. Can't say that the format is working for me. ACE must either commit and run a totally separate race for the elite ladies, or like others suggested on here, cut out 2 or 3 days of the event for them to get the TSS balanced (if that is the actual reason for the change... don't know...)

Safe to say speed company was 1 hit wonder? 👀

Well it was one of the best stories in endurance sport that I can remember - 2 guys and one of their dads in a camper up against the might of the factory teams.

Why do we feel the need to knock people when we’re behind a keyboard?

I will always support them for being human and for the passion they bring to our sport.

It was a cool story.
