Which trail was this? I normally don't venture further than bloemendal/hillcrest.

Thanks, I'll give that traverse a try, looks interesting compared to the cow dung on the protea hotel traverse. I see on trail forks you can also go via the st johns rd link, do you know if it's open or did you just want to go the extra km's?

I enjoy the view from the Odendaal exit.  Also the fast decent down Odendaal ....

Do believe St John is open.

I enjoy the circular route .... in via Protea, out via Traverse. May just do it in reverse next time .... less of a rush to get off Traverse, time for coffee at Bloemendal and more time for more of Bloemendal .... and less tar in peak traffic.

Denial: "Man, riding is hard today. I must've slept funny, or had too much to drink last night, or something."

Anger: "$&@%*!, @$&%*%ing *@&#*$!"

Bargaining: "Come on, just let me make it back home. I won't even ride tomorrow, just let me get there today."

Depression: "I hate the weather. I hate weathermen. I hate the sky. Curse this cruel, uninhabitable world."

Acceptance: "Ugh, headwinds. At least I won't have to do intervals this week."

very p'd off with myself.

My bike has taken me nowhere this week.

Monday - rest day

Tuesday had to be at the office at a sparows fart

Wednesday - check the weather, to windy

Today - check the weather, to windy.

I should have just ridden, its only a head wind in one direction.

Rest of the week looks like crappy cold weather, so I think I'll have to climb on the IDT again for a few days.

I thought it was never windy in GP ;)

15/20 knots on the way down to town this morning, it wasn't so lekker but then on the way back cruising at  40kph made it worth it ;)
