I like dogs, but since my last bite, which occurred while I was on my mtb.... I am not exactly fond of dogs, and I just get highly agitated when I hear one bark or growl. My neighbour's dog tried to kill their cat a few months back and I was in my kitchen and I started trembling, not from fear, but rage. I had that "red mist" that people refer to come over me. I am sure it is some form of underlying ptsd or call it what you will, but I am sure as anything that I will NEVER allow a dog to try bite me, or my family, ever again.

Dont trust a single dog, especially if its running loose(off a leash), just way too many violent encounters with loose dogs. But each to their own. I would just like it when people take control of their dogs in public spaces. I have started to notice that this is on the rise when I hike and I love it. A boxer and a lab, which just equates to a ton of slobber and hair on all my clothes. But it's worth it. My dogs are literally the highlight of my day every day (I don't have kids yet). I find it's pretty much impossible to be even slightly upset when you have a monster of an animal on you that acts like an excited little kiddy in a sweet store when it sees you. I mean, I'm pretty much a buttler/servant that picks up their poo, scratches them, walks them, and feeds them. I'm pretty sure they think it's their house and I'm just here to meet their every need.
