The device is basically a female condom with teeth lining the inside that work just like the protective spikes in a parking garage… You can go in, but whatever you do, don’t back out. The teeth are angled so they allow penetration, but bite like a shark as the penis is removed; supposedly causing so much pain that it will give the woman a chance to escape. There's too many people on the planet and by choosing not to reproduce I've made more of a positive impact than anyone could make by not eating meat. As a species, ironically, I think we need something close to an ELE to survive. It is my absolute favourite painting. When I went to go see it, they decided to loan it to the New York Art Gallery. I was really really bummed. So we are going again next year to have a look again.
