Muttley Posted April 1, 2019 Share I wanted to mount my phone on my Garmin half turn mount for my indoor trainer so came up with this solution: Purchased one of these from the thegadgetshop: (If you sign up for their newsletter, you can get R100 off ) I then needed an adapter from the quad lock to the Garmin half turn. I found a 3D print design which some kind fellow on the internet made. Link here to the file Sent the file to the very helpful guys from Rapid3d and this arrived earlier today: Time to hit the pain cave shaper, RossW, WrightJnr and 4 others
Cpt_Bear Posted April 1, 2019 Share Picked up a Trek Fuel EX 8 from my local bike shop, had a few short rides, but want to test it on more technical terrain. So far an awesome bike. Headshot, doppelganger, Eddy Gordo and 17 others
stefmeister Posted April 1, 2019 Share The spank does not use grub screws, more like a cap screw. But the end is not threaded. See below:Pins.jpgPin and bolt.JPG So I can buy a bolt, but then I don't have a lathe to make the front as per the original.........Drill and a file can do the job. Minus the lathe precision. Cpt_Bear Posted April 1, 2019 Share I like the look of those pedals, have you used similar before? Not MTB trail pedals, I have used the XT pedals before on my previous bike, but these do feel extremely solid and smooth when clipping in.
andreas17777 Posted April 1, 2019 Share Got the Lyne Holy Rail & Storage Box for my roadie. I considered signing up to attend Harvard while I figured out how to get everything to actually fit well. 01.jpg02.jpg Then I figured I'm already riding in the dark in the mornings so I should get a decent light. 03.jpgThis is pretty cool, just don't know how it will look on a hypervox. ChrisF Posted April 5, 2019 Share This is most likely a Xmas present...Same on this side .... Maritz cant stand over the top tube of the 26'', not yet .... saying that, I got a FRIGHT yesterday afternoon .... He got the 24'' less than a year ago and the saddle of the 24'' is almost level with the top tube of the 26'' ! And he is only turning 8 in June !! So on the one hand I am relaxed that we have time to re-invent the Mongoose, but each time I drool over the Bogus website ... SUPER excited for this project !!
