Is there a company/craftsman out there who can reprofile and sharpen quality steel knives, I`d like to have my Sage with SV30 steel blade properly sharpened after a decade of only touching up.

Sharp edge in Sandton used to do it but they are gone!

These are not exactly pocket knives :mellow: . I inherited them from my dad. They are badly rusted and would like some advice on how I could get them cleaned up and treated.

You'll need to hope the rust is topical and hasn't gone too deep.

But generally soak in vinegar, if it's really bad overnight and scrub it off with some steel wool.

 

Then just sharpen and polish.
