Shebeen Posted November 12, 2012 Share It's a pity we have to ruin bikes with bottle cages - they look so much neater without them (nobody say camelback - I poke you in the eye!).Camelbak, actually. but I prefer nalgene with those magnetic hose vibe thingymajigs. speaking of magnets, i think there is a magnetic bottle holder that would look less.....cagey. kosmonooit Posted November 12, 2012 Share Great stuff! Now how about some 'cross events? Been watching following hte US and Belgian scenes, great (urban) spectator sport.
Stretched@Birth Posted November 12, 2012 Share Very nice Eldron. Agree with Kosmonooit, need to arrange a cross event. There's a nice piece of track at Thaba where we can do some short course lap racing, you fast ou's can race, I'll just ride laps... Also been looking at Rietvlei and have worked out a nice lap for short course racing!
kosmonooit Posted November 12, 2012 Share I was thinking somewhere like Delta Park might be a good venue. You just need a few props, a bridge, sand and some squishy bits. Raab

rock Posted November 13, 2012 Share a few R10 notes in the sand for a money grab, a few barriers to jump over and you need the race to cut through the middle of a beet tent each lap, only beer and hot chips to be served for spectators, and if its dry and the sun's out the race gets cancelled due to adverse weather conditions Andyr249 and Zebra
