My neighbour and training partner, what a machine!! Just to confirm, black S-Works dual suss?

Remember to taper for the DC...

Saw a guy riding for cerebral palsy towing a kid with cerebral palsy, that kinda reminded me to HTFU, so although it was a bad day for me, with suffering and riding granny gear up every bump and also taking a tumble when a guy rode into my back wheel buckling it, imagining what that rider must have gone through kept me going. Limped/wobbled home in 3.38.

Started in P group, rode 3:19, improvement from 3:52 from RR. There was a guy riding a stump jumper fsr most of the way with me, started m group and probably finished a minute or so behind. Big up to him.

What an awesome race. It was an extremely hot day. When I was riding back to my car I was flipping through my Garmin screen and the temperature was 39.

It was great to race again, I certainly missed the competitiveness. My only disappointment is the goodie bag. The pamphlets which goes straight to the bin. What has Tac crackers got to do with cycling?

Was my Second 94.7, will try and get up earlier next year to try and miss the parking rush (or whatever to call it). It was so hectic trying to get to my start batch that I forgot to check if my GPS was on, damn! Still improved my time with about 35 or 40 minutes (still waiting for the results), but did not make it under 4 hours.

Now about that entry fee, I dont really mind paying it. Saw and heard of a couple of very bad falls today (was slowed down on Cumberland next to the golf course), Good thing to know my money paid for proper medical care (or at least first aid) for those cyclists.

Saw a couple of guys on unicycles with very big wheels. Impressive!

You must have been riding very close to me... I saw the same things in the same chain, and also got stopped next to the golf course... Poor girl got some bad facial injuries, hope that's all it was!

I was on the black marin bike with cosmics, in centurion kit!

First road race. 4.12, although stopped to assist after a real bad accident, so probably lost 10 minutes there. Took it easy and enjoyed the whole thing. What a fantastic day. The crowds were fantastic and nobody wasn't ready to help at every opportunity. It's been many years since I had pretty ladies rubbing sun lotion on to my neck and face.

just a question, what idiot decides to put a water table at the bottom of a DH instead of at the top of a hill?

Rode for the bumble bees this year and made it a family affair. It was quite an experience but enjoyed the ride with my wife and son. Anyone know about the guy on Witkoppen next to the road. Lady was frantically giving cpr and he did not look good

That would be Chaeli Mycroft and Grant Kruger!

Strong brave man you are Grant Kruger, sir!

They did a 4:17 if I am not mistaken.

They are riding for the Chaeli Campaign, raising funds and creating awareness to help other children with disabilities and learning disabilities. They are building a Learning Center next year and need loads of support and load of financial support to accomplish this goal

SupremeLady and I are doing the Epic to raise funds for Chaeli Campaign and specifically for this Learning Center.

If anyone wants to assist, feel free to get in touch.

We also have Argus entries available in the Charity group, should you have missed your entry.

Anyone find a 3 min difference between official time and own time keeping device? My garmin and iPhone have my time as 3 min faster, had the same thing at race to victory.

As far as I know the clock starts as soon as the bunch is set off and not when you cross the first timing mat...
