I was staring so intently that I missed the robot turning green. My wife then observed - " The sad part is that you were staring at the bike and not the woman." She was right. JanJan Posted August 1, 2014 Share Because I know 99% of cyclists are the same as me:If you see someone on a better/prettier bike than yours, you will stare and evaluated it and come to the conclusion that the cyclist is a rich spoilt ex-golfer than doesn't appreciate or deserve his steed. If you see someone on a worse/uglier bike than yours, you keep looking forward, flex the calves and try to like like a pro. Mets Posted August 1, 2014 Share I know some of the people who regularly ride with us by their bikes and components. I've "met" some of them of the bike for the first time only to realize it's Pietpompies (or whoever) who rides the Momsen SL 929 with the red grips etc.With all the helmets, shades and buffs covering us it's no wonder. Heck, here I am trying to get the thinnest profile possible and he has the fattest rubber an mtb has ever seen.
