Finally got the bike back.

So my old man is/was a big Kenny Roberts fan. So for his 55th birthday, I surprised him and got his Scott Scale RC sorted by Bogus.... BLOWN away as always.

He did the frame, wheels, bar, stem and seat post.

The inspiration:

The results, you cant see the detail of the paint in the pics, its even more impressive when you are it in the light.

Hi. Anyone have a number for Bogus?

Please share his contact details, want to facelift my MTB, something special...

You are only allowed to use the contact details if "you solemnly swear in front of all gathered here, that you will post before and after pictures, including close ups, on this here thread, so help me!" :whistling:  :)

I second this whole heartedly! I got excited when I saw there were new posts in this thread, was looking forward to some drool worthy pics. What a disappointment!

Oh but I will yes, but i figure as soon as the bike is sent, it will take a while for it to come back...

Around a month.. I'll first have to buy a second bike to ride before I can take my MTB for some bogus treatment again. Gat has been jikking for a while now.. Was thoroughly impressed with the previous job he did for me!

Just an idea of the time frame :

- It takes a few weeks of emails to wrap up the design .... (sadly he would not meet in person to talk through the design, pity as we live a few km apart ...)

- then it may take many weeks to get an opening, depending on his order book at the time

- the job itself obviously may be an easy one colour or a tricky multi-layer job taking weeks ... yeah right ... why go to Bogus for a one-colour job ....

be realistic about the time frame.  That said, his work is pure ART, and well worth the wait !

Hmmm... my dad and i both both a little disappointed in his work on his Look 595.

the new paint lines seem shakey and not one clean line.

not sure its as good as it could be, but i suppose it is what it is. maybe i'm to much of a perfectionist.

i will post a few pictures to show what i mean

I’m doing a Look so I’d like to see even if you PM me - just for ideas

If you want to flame the okes work then at least post some photos of the work and include a few close-ups.
