Also moved straight through 800 to 900 this week even though I only managed just to get 800 as haven been down with the flu... as this is a taper week before Durbs70.3 looks like will not make my target... but still expect to be on 1000 next week lol

So I missed my 800 target for last week as I was a bit ill and didn't ride Thursday. Wake up today to a 900 target. Seems the algorithm used was written by a moron

 

Discovery doesn't know on a Saturday morning that you haven't made it as you could still have points coming in.   So if you don't make it, it only comes into affect the following week.

Anyone else having issues logging into the discovery app? 

 

I was able to login yesterday no problems, but today I can't login.

 

If I use the same username and password on the website, it works.

Anyone know if Discovery will come up with a work-around or alternative to the HR based system they currently use?

My true HRmax is only about 86% of predicted, so the current system is not viable for me.

 

Perhaps have (for individual few) a way to confirm HRmax and use that then instead of the formula based stuff

They reset you "current" weeks goal on Friday midnight. Even though you might've achieved your points, your status might still show "Pending". It does that until the Wednesday, when you get awarded (or not). So there are a few lee-way days, but it doesn't mean you can squeeze activities in there for the week prior.

900 this week. Van Gaalen this morning which means target should be achieved.

Say 600 for 70.3 add collect 2 x rewards which is another 200 = 800, which means you'll only need 100 to achieve your target. Should be simple enough.

the way my points are going up will be on 1000 next week, so might have to go for 2 sauna's as well  :whistling:

They do sometimes rush into things, and they do make mistakes here and there, but I guess they seem to prefer pushing the envelope instead of playing it safe. They do at least fix things when they go wrong... and they're clearly doing a few things very well!

Look forward to seeing the changes
