In two weeks time I should (hopefully) get to one full year of weekly goals achieved. Taking a fat chance.......does anyone know if there is any special reward for this? I'm not expecting anything, but I noticed this thread today and thought I would ask anyway.

Nope there is nothing, some of us here are on 6yrs

Legit Question:

is Vitality worth it anymore?

the discounts i used to get on car hire and flights were great, but now with travel no longer happening i am struggling to see any benefit with keeping up with the Platinum status.

All depends what other products you have that are linked for rewards

If you have Life products with annual & 5 yearly paybacks then your vitality status has an effect on the amount you get paid back. this is the only reason I have it and stay on diamond.

Everything else offered by vitality is just a scam to reduce their ensured risk.

Of course if you be a super athlete then you can capitalize on all the free trinkets they offer for getting active because its a normal way of life for you. But be that guy who likes to ride his bike once a week maybe got to gym 4 times a month and run the dog around the block twice a week and you go for an Apple watch, your off to athlete jail and if you want to get out you will pay and pay dearly.

Unfortunately you get nothing, but one should get something since this is an awesome goal to get.  I also did it before but this year I missed a few weeks.

Edit:  Difficult to exercise in hospital (twice) .... ????

Steam vouchers have not worked in weeks (despite contacting them), and I'm pretty sure Vitality costs us much more than we save on the Amashova accommodation. Unless you have just about every Discovery product, the reward/flaming circus hoop ratio seems to be getting a bit... meh!

I as well contacted them about it on Friday. Got a response today saying they are aware of it, they working on it, and it should be resolved by the 2nd of December. So we will see.

Another small win:

November and December there should be a R250 Sportsman’s Warehouse voucher for 150 miles (R15), so that’s R500. Add another upfront discount of R500 (25% of R2000 spend), that’s R1000 off a spend of R2000.

I get that the travel stuff is currently not worth it, but some of the shopping stuff is.

Not bad. I just have no need for anything of that kind at this point

Aren't the vouchers limited to one per transaction?

How I understood it too.
Can the SWH vouchers be used to pay the difference when redeeming a Active rewards for example?

I’ve paid before with two voucher codes (online), but I see the T&Cs show one. Will check if I can add it to a gift card like Cape Union Mart.

But you're only allowed to use one voucher at a time so you cant add them together and get R500 off a single purchase?
