Was good to see Bak and Vermote animated at Paris Tours, credit to them for doing justice to Bak's last race.

Cavendish, pffft, probably rolled along offering free tickets to the track event he's been promising to keep his form for. Good luck to Copeland and Hammond in 2020 - Maclaren gifted them a real problem, but hey maybe a new bike and familiar faces from the glory days will restore the glory days - I think not.

Any ideas on who is replacing Aldag and if BMC is staying on?

Lars Michaelsen replaces Rolf.

Saw yesterday that Eddy BoasenHagen is indicated as Team NTT for 2020, although I have not heard anything from the team.

Still waiting for confirmation on Willie and TJ Slagter .

Ah thanks for that - I liked Lars as a rider and hopefully he gets the best out of some helluva talented Scandinavians in that lot.

Holding thumbs he brings the good of the winning ways of Astana with him.

Mark Cavendish can expect a warm welcome at Bahrain-Merida when he joins the team for the 2020 season, with Italian sprinter Sonny Colbrelli convinced the Manxman can help improve the team's sprint options and even return to winning major bunch sprints.

Saw this - wondered just how Cavendish is going to help - Colbrelli normally features in the hilly sprints - cant see Cavendish near those hills.

Cavendish likes to think of himself as a bit of a designer and technically astute - perhaps that's the role McLaren have him in mind for.

But I don't think it will be anywhere near of the front of the bunch with the new crop - for that you need guys who can muscle with DQS. Bora seem to me to be the only other ones who occupy that space.

I agree with you !

And what team are they going to take to the (tdf) ?

GC team or a team to assist Cav in the sprints ?

99th out of a 109 finishers 19:55 down

He has obviously had some sort of serious problem since he rejoined TDD , would be good if the management or LM had communicated the reasons...

Their current plan is lets just keep quiet perhaps nobody will notice!

time to say tjeers to Cav.

2019 - ~9500km in 62 racing days!

lots of DNF

12 UCI points

3 top ten results, with the only podium a 3rd at tour of turkey

if he pulls any sort of form in 2020, then well done to bahrain merida.

Bahrain Merida announced 6 new riders today.

One of them is currently riding for TDD.

His name is not Mark  but Scott.

Saw TJ Slagter of to Vital concept as well.

I hope Amaneul, Ben Oconnor and LM show some climbing form next year.
