Calm down. I have nothing to be jealous about. I am blessed every single day of my life. So I dont do jealousy. I was speaking in general. We spend so much time bitching about rain, wind , its too hot , its too cold. And when we are finished moaning and we look, the wind is still blowing, it is still hot... etc.

.y point is that we could focus our energy in a more positive way.

What are you on his case for?

Relax

Does anyone know if they guy in 1D that passed out is ok?

Was that around misty cliffs? The medics were doing cpr on the side of the road. Didn't look good, pray he made it.

At least the wind was not really an issue, there was a bit here and there, but it has been much worse in the past. This year I was way unfit so hid away a lot and it was really easy there.

I went through just off the back of 1F and saw a guy down on the right-hand side. On a positive note, the medics had him in a recovery position on his side. If they were trying to revive him he'd have been on his back. So hopefully he's ok.

Don't know if same guy, but passed a scene in that area where medics appeared to be performing CPR on a fallen rider. (I was riding in 2A)

Hoping for positive news.

The wind was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be but it certainly made the going tougher than usual.

Certainly was tough in areas and I suspect getting tougher as the day goes on.

I wouldn't want to be out there now.

Doesn't sound good, wonder if it's possible they hadn't started CPR when I saw him ☹️

Must be the same guy.

Thank goodness all of the DJR youngsters finished in good shape, if slower than they hoped for.

What I discovered today is that I am NOT cut out to sit and wait and worry! If anything, after today I REALLY appreciate all those many years that my wife waited for us to finish hundreds of races including many an Argus! I told her so and tomorrow I'll go buy her a big fat bunch of flowers!
