I don't even know what Bollas are.....

I know I have Ballas, but they belong to my wife

they basically look like those round donut balls you buy at woolworths....only more flavourful..basically 100x better. As the token agnostic whitey in a predominantly islamic street....we get fed plates full of them over the religious periods by the neighbours haha. And as mentioned...it's true...they are literally impossible to pass on.

Just checking, has she taken/been given yours or did she surprise you with her own hairy ones when you first got friendly ?

HAHAHAHA No, I surrendered mine when I knew She was a keeper.

I thoroughly inspected her before committing.

Ah... Yeah... I am not a huge fan of doughnuts and such.

Love a good carrot cake though

Amazing how many more riders there are on the roads over weekends in these weeks before CTCT - wish it was always like this.

Had to laugh at your comment. My club has a whatsapp group for early morning weekday rides and there are the regulars that ride all year round and then some people that come out of the wood work before 947. So just this week there were a few extra people that started joining and someone commented was there a big race coming up soon. So even up here in the thin air we have more guys and girls out doing some last minute training.

Not many people realise this..

If you're near the front of the bunch up Edinburgh drive, there's not much point surging ahead.

Would be interested to see exactly where this 25km ascent is

I was also thinking the same. Maybe it is about 25km from top of edinburgh to base of smits? Not ascent but after the descent onto blue route it is flat. Sea level is sea level.
