Wayne pudding Mol Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Froomey bringing up the rear of the peleton by some distance. He'll be hoping his form improves

Wayne pudding Mol Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 No TourmaletNo AlpeNo Ventoux. Is that right? In a traditional sense no. Just seems wrong but as long as the racing is exciting we will forgive I'm sure pista 1

Jase619 Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Sheesh they really are being stingy with the amount of TT kilometres. Bardet can't time trial?
Wayne pudding Mol Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Bardet can't time trial? and did I read even the TT is on the hometown of Pinot or was it Bardet Fair play, it's the Tour De France, I'd also try and tilt the course to suit a French winner. Problem is the young guns on the scene will probably smoke them anyway Long Wheel Base and Vetplant 2

Problem is the young guns on the scene will probably smoke them anyway Yep, they will try to negate Bernal or Froome, and then some other youngster will come and demolish them. There's a better video of a lion storming from something like 200m while rams fight, but I can't find it now. But this brings the message across.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSKZx7HJq0E

J Wakefield Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Warren Barguil. Another great French hope that often amounts to nothing more than a damp squib In what way is he a damp squib? Genuine question here. Cause he hasn't won a GT? He isn't hunting GC at Tours.Cause he has been having some issues health/injury related in 2019 and a huge crash at Paris-Nice? 10th at TdF?2nd GC Norway?1st National Champs? T-Bob and DieselnDust 2

Jewbacca Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 Warren Barguil. Another great French hope that often amounts to nothing more than a damp squibHectic... His CV is about as impressive as they come for a pure climber. Top 10 grand tour finishes, stage wins, Polka jersey, combativity prizes..... Top 10 finishes at some of the classics.... Dunno about a wet squib. I don't think he was ever a GC hope in anyones eyes was he? 2017 he lit up the TDF. What interests me will be whether the current World Road Race champ gets 2 GT's or not.
