All you iPhone users, what you experienced over the last few days is the norm for Huawei users. Not syncing, that little man running, it's all the norm. All this is the main reason I can't wait to upgrade my Huawei in October to something else that pairs properly with garmin.

I used to have that issue. Turn on GPS on the phone and it then works far better. No more issues for me.

I made peace with the reduced functionality of my Fenix 3 paired with the Huawei. No matter ow many tricks I tried it just kept falling over all of the time.

Now on a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 and all is well again in the world of notifications making it to my watch.

Won't buy a Huawei again anytime soon and I actively discourage people who ask me about whether they should get one. Not worth the hassle IMHO.

Yeah me neither. My contract upgrade is due October and won't be getting a Huawei again. My wife washed her iPhone and the few days she was waiting for a new one she used an old huawei and she swore it every day  . Garmin aside, it's not a bad phone but I use GC so much that it is a major factor in my decision on what phone to use.

SONY and Vodacom appear to have had a divorce so I guess I'll be going iPhone and maybe take up the smart watch option as well or just opt in for it on Vitality.

I've had a work iPhone for the last 7 years and often connected it to the Garmin....rock solid connection

it seems as though this App name has been changed to Garmin Connect. Just comparing it to the amount of downloads.

Couldn't find the reconnected app anymore.

You weren’t the first, and probably not the last one to miss it as a joke.

I can confirm the CAT phones are even worse ...

I would restart it multiple times per day. Pair it with the car radio, 1 or 2 phonecalls later it would require another reset ... with the amount of driving I did this was a deal breaker ... ended up buying a new phone ....

After all this whoo haa, I am seeing a lot of garmin ads on my feeds.

Which just means the algorithms are doing their work.

Thing is, I'm not in the market for buying a device right now and most DEFINITELY won't be a Garmin.

so these ads are wasted on me, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Poor marketing dept is going to have to explain how their monthly budget got sucked dry in a week and sales still at basement.
