And withinn touching distance of the guys ahead him. 👌

Next couple of mountain stages are going to be great to watch.!

And of course there's the small matter of a TT.

Unfortunately that the last time Louis made the brake and gain time, at least Ineos will now watch him like a hawk going forward.

Are Jumbo Cursed?

Sjoe..... Pretty much their whole team on the deck so far and losing Roglic and Kruiswijk o the same day is huge.

Benoot doesn't look good either.

This is why you race like every day counts in the GC battle!

I suspect Roglič begins his Vuelta preparations with this DNS. Kruïjswijk and the maillot vert just crashed and shortly thereafter the maillot jaune and Benoot. Unfortunately, the Dutch climber is unable to continue and the Danish GC leader is unscathed. Jumbo-Visma will welcome the rest day.

The Extreme Weather Protocol have been deployed for today’s high 30 degree heatwave with teams having less restrictions with hydration and bidon management.

Am lost. Gap remains the same at the front despite Vinegaards crash?

What do you mean?

Vingegaard crashed with like 55km to go (I think? ish)

He rode back to the Peleton and finished with the group?

The stage was too flat for Pog to really attack and get anything from it. Especially as he also has a bit of a withered team.

They will all be thankful of the rest day tomorrow and start planning for 3 pretty big days to come next week.

I really think it's game on now with JV done 2 big hitters...

No doubt Pog will try and close deficit on stage 17 & 18, if not he will chip away time and maybe score some time bonuses and really set it up for the final TT. As proven Jonas is no Mickie on the TT but we all remember...

That TT and this years TT are very very  different.  I do not see Pog taking minutes from Jonas in the TT.  If he want to win he need to take the time before that.
