Trying to decide if I should buy a 10,  for keep sake until I qualify for a 21 in a few years time. that way as I work my way through the numbers I can have a complete collection.

you can buy more than one on the site. so i could buy for friends really. If someone really really wants to wear this top, but are not eligible then the only real problem is with them.

If the VIP log is anything to go by there are about 400 peeps qualifying for the 30 jersey and only about 20 for the 40 jersey

So those 2 are pretty exclusive...

(Almost 20K qualify for the 10 jersey so that one not so much...)

A few years back, whoever made the cape epic finishers shirts was getting rid of old stock and they had a sale. Anyone was able to buy a cape epic finishers shirt. I didn't know this and saw a fellow club member wearing one and asked when he did the epic. He responded telling me the above. I didn't really agree with wearing it and I wouldn't but hey, you get some strange people. At least he told me he just bought it. Some people would have said they did the race.

If it was me I would have picked the red kit - at least from the pictures it looks pretty nice

I am leaning towards wearing it on race day. Another reason to order asap so that it arrives in time. Don't want to leave new kit decisions down to picking it up at the expo.

I'll buy the 21 jersey, but probably only decide the evening before the race if I use it or the normal Club 21.

Get ready, mother city, the vrou and I are officially doing this on the tandem (first time for both of us)! I'm really stoked for it. My parents did it twice on a tandem when they were my age too, so it has a bit of tradition / continuation specialness too.

Cheaped out and used all of my Voyager miles to get tickets down and back, so arriving the Saturday just after lunch and flying back the Sunday evening. Riding it with two very new cycling friends, so it'll just be for the atmosphere and to do it with them, couldn't care less about the time. I'm still putting in some "training" which, in my book, is just sticking to doing four somethings a week (looks like 3 rides and 1 run at the moment).

Not really different to their normal branding, maybe a bit more, but I'm guessing they are giving these at a discount if you take what a normal shirt costs

I have a trans baviaans t shirt I can't bring myself to wear in public cos I got sick and missed the event. I even feel sheepish when I wear it as pajamas.
