Was away with my family for the weekend to the Waterberg. Decided to do a quick spin on Sunday morning. Just an hour out and back or so on what seemed like an ordinary dirt road. Ended up spotting hippo, buffalo, Sable, Roan and much more whilst passing the game farms. What I expected to be an uneventful quick spin turned out to be a pretty incredible ride.

I pretend to my European friends that this happens all the time here in the wilds of Africa. :whistling:

Greno Woods, Sheffield.

After i replaced the pivot bearings and rear shock, the bike was running sooooo smooth and absorbed everything. The new rear shock (RS Monarch Plus) seems waaayyy better than the previous one (Fox Float X) so pretty chuffed.

The trails at this place were awesome and flowed so well. Lots of berms and jumps.Need to practice the jumps cos i suck..lol

Around Cape Point with Beattbox (who was crazy enough to ride despite donating half his blood yesterday) and D (who climbed like the skinny fit 16 year old that he is). I never should have given him my old Litespeed because that just left me wishing I could donate some unused winter fat in stead.
